'Somehow, that ray seems to scan in dept to Asuka's mental
wavelength. Are the Angels trying to analyse what's inside a human
mind?' thinks Ritsuko.

Inside Asuka mind, a child Asuka begins to cry.
"Why am I crying ? I swore that I wouldn't cry anymore." states
Asuka.
Lying on the ground is the stuffed monkey toy, torn in half.
"What's wrong, Asuka? This was a present from your new mother.
Don't you like it?" asks Asuka's father.
"No!" replies the child Asuka.
"No? But, why not?"
A teenage Asuka in her plug suit steps on the stuffed toy.
"Because I'm not a child! I grew up faster than other people! I
didn't need a stupid stuffed toy!" exclaims Asuka.
Suddenly, the door leading to her mother's room opens.
"Please look at me! I'm begging you, momma! Don't stop being my
mother!" cries the child Asuka, her mothers taunting laughter
surrounding her.
"Asuka... Come to heaven with me." says Kyoko teasingly.
"Momma! Momma! No, please! Please don't kill me! No! I'm not
momma's doll! I can think for myself and I'll live for myself!"
cries the child Asuka again.
"No! Don't make me remember that! I wanted to forget those things!
I don't want those terrible memories anymore! Stop this! Please,
stop it now!" screams Asuka.
"Asuka, darling. Come die with me." says Kyoko.
"Yes! I'll die with you, momma! Don't stop being my mother! Please
momma!" cries the child Asuka. 
"What? Who are you? I've never seen you before." states Kyoko.
Suddenly, a teenage Asuka appears.
"My name is Asuka Langley Sohryu. Charmed, huh? Are you stupid?
Chance! Please, look at me!" says the first Asuka.
"No! This isn't me!" cries Asuka.
"My name is Asuka Langley Sohryu. Charmed, huh? Are you stupid?
Chance! Please, look at me!" says a second Asuka.
"No! This isn't me!" cries Asuka.
"My name is Asuka Langley Sohryu. Charmed, huh? Are you stupid?
Chance! Please, look at me!" says a third Asuka.
"No! This isn't me!"
"My name is Asuka Langley Sohryu. Charmed, huh? Are you stupid?
Chance! Please, look at me!" says a fourth Asuka.
"No! This isn't me!"
"My name is Asuka Langley Sohryu. Charmed, huh? Are you stupid?
Chance! Please, look at me!" says a fifth Asuka.
"No! This isn't me! Help me! Help me, Kaji!" cries Asuka desperate-
ly.

"You're still a child." states Kaji as he appears.

"What are you doing here!? You never did anything for me! You never
tried to help me! You never cared for me! Nobody did! Nobody!
Nobody!" screams Asuka.

"Please, look at me!" cries the child Asuka.
